THE PROPHETIC WORD: 1982 - 2010

From 1982, Prophet Andrew Wutawunashe received a word from God for each year, and taught God’s people to live by it and to experience its lifting power in all areas of life and ministry.  Each year’s prophetic word, together with the word from all the other years, continues to build our children, and us, and to work in the Church and in the nations.

2010 – The Year of Mission

Judges 6:12 – 16; Lk 1:11 -19,30 -38, Eph 1:19-2:7; Deut 28:1-10; Psalm 91

God is sending each of His willing people on different tasks which will all dovetail into His one purpose – to bring good, salvation and blessing to His people and to the nations. He will cause you to experience His AWAKENINGS so that you may be ready for Mission.  The Spirit of 2010 is the Spirit of ADVANTAGE. God is placing all His people committed to Mission into places of Advantage encompassing three areas: Spiritual Advantage - “Far above...”, Advantage in the area of Opportunities and Advantage in Conflict

2009 – The Year of Milestones

Lk 2:9-20; Daniel 11:32ff; Zech4:5-7; Gen 28:3-22; 2 Timothy 1:6,7;

The people of God moved with a vision of MILESTONE ACHIEVEMENTS, in the Spirit of Daniel 11:32-33 – the Spirit of EXPLOITS, and the Anointing of the Spirit of Power, majoring in DOING, BUILDING and TEACHING, both in serving the Lord and in our lives after the fashion of our Lord Jesus who went about doing good and achieving great exploits. People kept the three prophetic pillars of Building, doing and teaching in their work to build the Citywide Church, the Home Group, the Area Church and their individual lives, and those around them

2008 – The Year of The Wayfarer

Isaiah 35:8; 1Tim 3:15ff; Mtt1:15-23; Phil2:4-11

God released an anointing of facilitation, open doors and pleasant destinations for those who chose to journey for good things of God in three areas: GODLINESS, LIFE and BLESSING, and in MISSION.  A spirit of the discoverer, of ownership was prevalent, owning the things journeyed for – owning people, the work of the ministry and thereby bringing to them value and wholeness

2007 – The Year of Divine Engagements

Lk 1; Psalm8:1-9; Gen 1; Ps50; Ex 17;

God’s children woke up to their identity as vessels of divine engagements, imitating God the Father who is the God of Engagement.  Children of God put their faith into action, engaging all things that are not according to God’s word spiritually, socially, economically and physically in their lives and ministries. The spirit of 2007 was Devotion, staying connected with God, visitations of the Spirit and visitations of Bread, all to enable divine engagements in all dimensions of life 

2006 – The Year of The Receiver

Lk 2; Jn1; Isaiah 9; Psalm 68; Rom 10:8-17; 2KI 7:1-12

The anointing of the Receiver brought with it gifts of power – spiritual, material and people gifts, gifts that proceed from God, including the greatest gift of all, Christ.  Gifts of power usher God’s people into a new era of possessing life, creation and creativity, proclamation, and dominion through conquest.  People of God discovered their gifts and learnt to be faithful to them in work and ministry. It was a year characterized by anointing of defences, strength, a new grace and outpourings of the Spirit

2005 – The Year of Emerging Stars (The Rise of Sons)
